Snow Policy 2011-2012
Whenever the Town of Vernon's Board of Education announces a delayed school opening or closure due to inclement weather, Hockanum Industries transportation routes do not operate. If Hockanum Industries will not be providing transportation or will be closed for the day, it will be listed on WFSB, Channel 3 and www.wfsb.com. |
Parent Group
The Hockanum Industries Parent Group is a support group comprised of parents and family members of the clients of Hockanum Industries. It was formed to provide a supportive environment for parents/caregivers of adult children with special needs, where we can meet to share experiences, resources, solutions, and emotional support.
We also work together to support Hockanum Industries through volunteerism. We assist with fundraisers, staff appreciation and in many other wonderful ways. The parent group is a big part of Hockanum Industries success.
We meet once a month to discuss current issues and gather ideas that would help in caring for our loved ones.
