Fundraisers

Hockanum Industries conducts fundraisers each year to supplement the operations budget.  While they are modest, we believe that the connections we make with all of you in the surrounding communities are every bit as important as the money we raise.

Friendly’s Family Fun Night with Hockanum Industries

Please come out and join us at the Vernon Friendly’s March 31, 2008 from 5-8 pm. There will be fun family events, caricatures, balloons and a Celebrity Server. 10% of the profits from this night will help support Hockanum Industries. You are invited to come and spend the evening with us and meet some of our clients.

Also, we will be participating in the Vernon Town Wide Tag Sale on Saturday, April 26.   We will have many treasures new and old at 40 Hale Street.  Look for more details shortly in the media and on this web site.

10th Annual Golf Tournament – June 21, 2007

• Butter Braid Sales

In April the Hockanum Industries staff organized this fundraiser that yielded over $1,500 in thee weeks!  The items sold included:

• All kinds of delicious coffee cakes and breads
• Cookies for dessert lovers
• Omar Coffee

     The next Butter Braid fundraiser will be held in October to November – just in time  
     for the holiday season!

• Yankee Candle Sales

This sale runs August 15 to September 15 each year.  Money is due at the time of the order.  All deliveries are guaranteed for Christmas.  Brochures and order forms are available by calling Hockanum Industries at (860) 871-6724 or by emailing the Executive Director to place your order at: seaston@hockanumindustries.org.
